being mean

A time of my childhood when I was mean to somebody who didn’t deserve it was when I was about 13 years old and my friend Ben and I always use to hang out. I use to make fun of him and tease him about things he told me. I know it wasn’t funny and he didn’t deserve it, I just thought it was funny and it entertained me so going into more details, One day when we were hanging out I teased him because he didn’t have a cell phone and his mom was always strict on him and he had a curfew. I always use to tease him saying “you’re a momma’s boy” and he would get really hurt by it and feel down in the dumps and he always got teased about it. Now that I look back on it, I feel like a jerk and I feel like a big bully. He didn’t deserve it and I know he didn’t I did it just to be funny and kid around with him honestly I never knew he would take it as offensive and get hurt by it making him feel like dirt. If I could go back in time I would go back and make things different between us so maybe today we could have still been good friends. I think people like Doodle's brother, and I are mean to others whom don't deserve it because we get use to bullying and can’t kick the habit.

The name of the book is The Alchemist.The author's name is Paul Coelho and it's a fiction book. I really liked this book because it talked about the Alchemist's legend and it made me wonder what mine would be. Reading this book will tell you that there is alot to realise in life and more to life than just living everyday the same, you should change it up a little bit. You need to realize your goals and go for them because they might lead you to your craziest dream. I liked reading this because it also opened my mind to the many possibilities of going after your personal goals and making them happen. Also i think that somebody should read and and not burn through it fastly. Its a really good story but kind of hard to follow if the story doesn't catch your mind. If somebody burned through it and skipped around it then your missing out on a good story and it teaches you that if you don't open your eyes you could really miss something in life. That's what i think about this story and how other people should read it and what you could learn from it.

job world

Today in this world one thing that is really bad is the economy and looking for a job. I have been looking for a job since I was 14 and now I’m 19. Barley anybody that is jobless can get a job and if they do it’s a bad job with bad pay and not enough hours. It’s hard to find a good paying job as a teenager at this time and day. The only jobs we can get are at fast food and or labor jobs such as landscaping, stocking shelves, and others. If anything we can thank the economy. The economy is leaving a bunch people jobless and poor and hurting for money. This also means the jobless rate will go up for young adults since the economy stinks and it’s really hard to find a good paying job or a job at all. Hopefully in a year or two the economy will get better and jobs will start opening up. Also this might mean good paying jobs will open up, good hourly jobs will hire not for just kids but also for adults too. Than if this happens the jobless rate in America will go down.

Job seeking skills

The job i really want have is working with all sorts of animals.For example either a marine biologist working with sea animals, and or an animal cop helping protect animals.The reason i want to do this is because it makes me feel good to know that i can actually help animals that i know are in danger.Also I'd help animals who are abused or washed up on the shore in danger of death.


I think i would be good for this job because i love animals and i like helping people and or animals when i know they are in danger or hurt, also i know a lot about animals and what may be wrong with them. I really enjoy working with all sorts of animals and i would do anything to work with animals and to help them. I'm pretty sure that animals would appreciate me helping them too that's why i enjoy helping animals. In this job you would have to help sick and dieing animals, and also save animals that are hurt.

1:Finding Information:as a biologist, I'd have to find out info about why or how the animal was hurt.
2:Listening to others: I'd have to listen to others talk about what to do and not to do to help the sick animals as a marine biologist.
3:Operating Equipment: as a biologist I'd have to use equipment to deal with the hurt/sick animals to try and fix them.
4:Setting Goals: I'd have to set goals for myself so i can accomplish them for the animals.
5:Maintaining emotional control under stress: In work i would have to be calm and not let stress get to me and not affect my job.
6:Meeting New People: In work i would be meeting new people and co workers and we would have to be a team in work.
7:Raising Funds: In work we would raise funds for the hurt or sick animals to help us get items for them to make them feel better.
8:Enduring Long Hours: In my job i would work for a long time with no break because the animals are more important.
9:Encouraging Others: In work you would have to encourage them to help animals tell them they can.
10:Defining A Problem:At work i would look for problems with the animals and fix it before it got worse.
11:Maintaining Accurate Records At work we would have to keep records on how the animals are doing and what's wrong with them and how to fix it.
12:Administering Medication:In this job you would have to give the animals antibiotics for them to feel better.
13:Motivating Others: This job you need to boost every one's courage, tell them you can do it i know you can.
14:Conduct Meetings:We need meeting to let everyone know what is going on with the animals and how we have to do it.
15:Thinking Of Creative Ideas: In this job we need ideas on how to solve problems with the animals.
16:Enforcing Rules And Regulations:In this job there is no messing around, we have to be strict on the rules it's not play time its a serious job.
17:Taking Independent Action:In the job everyone is by them self doing independent work, no body works for 2 people only for yourself.
18:Writing Reports:In the job we need to write up reports on what we did to the animals and how the animals are feeling.
19:Making Decisions: In this job we all have to make hard decisions what we think is good for the animal.
20:Resolving Conflicts: Lastly in the job if there is a problem, we have to fix it.

The scene I have selected is the killing in the hallway with all the suitors. Also Odysseus, Telemachus, Eumaeus and another friend trapped all of the suitors in the hall way and slowly. They used arrows swords and other weapons. Of course the doors were sealed shut so they couldn't get out and escape from being killed. Also Antinous took a drink from a wine cup and as he lifted the cup,Odysseus shot an arrow through his throat.When he got shot wine and blood came out of his nose and mouth.Shortly after that Odysseus started shooting lots of arrows at the suitors.

I cant relate to this because I've played this game called oblivion,and the game is just like this movie. I say this because its kind of the same thing as this movie and you can kill people with arrows and swords its in like mi devil times.Also if i was in this time and these things were going on i'd probably be scared and sick because all of the violence.I'm just glad that this stuff don't happen anymore only back in the old times like in the movie.

I say this because it fits good with the scene, its intense and a good fighting song and looks good while there is a fight scene. This is why i picked this song and why.

Privacy

I think that it's not OK to invade any one's privacy because its Morley wrong. Also it's rude,weird and not right at all. Think like this, you wouldn't like it if somebody was spying on you and or watching every move that you do. I feel that its really wrong for another person to watch over someone like a baby, there is no need for that. Its against the law to invade people's privacy. Its considered being a "peeping tom" So what makes people think its OK. Its not OK to do and nobody should be able to do this. I think it could possibly scare somebody if your invading some body's privacy, not only is it wrong but its weird.I think that it's not OK to invade any one's privacy because its Morley wrong. torture

I think torture was done to punish people who committed a crime, did something wrong in the king's presence, stole and other crimes. Torture was done by using torture devices, such as iron Madden, axes, the pear, and others. The iron Madden was a coffin basically with spikes and it would pierce your body and make you bleed to death.The axes were used to behead people and or cut them in half. The pear would be placed in your mouth and opened up cracking your jaw bone.

I think capital and corporal punishment do work. I think this because if you punish some one they will defiantly learn from the pain or mistakes they had made so that they never feel that pain again, or act up again. Also i think it works too because if you torture somebody, they will be scared and won't try acting the way that they did. They would be disciplined and scared to act the way they did. It could make some people more violent and angry, but not all people. Most people would be in pain and scared. That's what i think about this topic.
